On May 15, the Groupe Gérard Perrier Industrie hosted the plenary session of the Cap’Ten & Magellan networks, organized by EDF, at its GERAL Manufacturing and GERAL Project sites in Belley (01). This event brought together several departments of the EDF group as well as a large number of stakeholders from the nuclear sector — suppliers, tier-1 subcontractors, and industrial players — around the challenges of safety, industrial performance, and competitiveness in the French nuclear industry.
On this occasion, our DATIVE team had the opportunity to host a workshop presenting its DAT’Products solution, dedicated to the connected monitoring of industrial equipment.
DAT’Products: data-driven performance for industrial machinery
Designed for industrial OEMs, DAT’Products is a comprehensive solution developed to connect machines, collect real-time data, and extract value to deliver new high-added-value services.
Our objective: enable manufacturers to remotely monitor the health, usage, and performance of their equipment once delivered and installed at customer sites.
Through this approach, OEMs can:
Monitor the operating status of their machine fleet in real time,
Offer their customers performance analysis by site, network, or business segment,
Detect anomalies and anticipate failures through weak signal analysis,
Offer connected services (telemetry, diagnostics, remote support),
Improve customer relations based on precise knowledge of actual equipment usage.
A concrete demonstration of the value of IIoT for industrial OEMs

During the workshop, Quentin, head of the IIoT division at DATIVE, illustrated this approach with a real-life usecase: the connected control of industrial ovens which GERAL co-designed. The equipment presented featured an HMI embedding custom electronics and native connectivity, allowing data transmission to our DAT’Products platform.
Based on this, participants were able to visualize:
Performance indicators (temperature, cooking time, cycles),
Data useful for maintenance,
Remote diagnostic tools,
And an overview of multi-site operations for the equipment.
The workshop also highlighted the synergy between the expertise of GERAL and DATIVE: embedded design and electronics on one side, software and algorithmic value creation on the other. This combination ensures robust, secure, and long-term scalable solutions.
Connectivity, cybersecurity, and customer value
DAT’Products is designed from the outset with a "secure by design" approach, with particular focus on industrial cybersecurity and data sovereignty. Our infrastructures allow our customers to retain full control over collected data, while benefiting from remote updates and optimized exploitation of the equipment.
By integrating into predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives, DAT’Products allows industrial OEMs to transition from a "product" model to a "product + services" model, offering differentiation and long-term viability.
A showcase of industrial innovation: concrete exploitation of data in industry

This workshop provided an opportunity for DATIVE, alongside the GERAL teams, to demonstrate the power of field data when properly leveraged. We thank EDF and the Cap’Ten & Magellan networks for their trust, as well as all participants for the productive exchanges.
