On May 15, the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group had the pleasure of hosting the Cap’Ten & Magellan networks' plenary at its GERAL Manufacturing and GERAL Project sites in Belley (01). The event brought together several EDF Group departments and numerous key players from the nuclear industry—suppliers, major subcontractors, and manufacturers—to discuss safety, industrial performance, and the competitiveness of the French nuclear sector.
On this occasion, our DATIVE team had the opportunity to lead a workshop presenting its DAT’Products solution, dedicated to the connected monitoring of industrial equipment.
Designed for industrial equipment manufacturers, DAT’Products is a complete solution that enables machine connectivity, real-time data collection, and value creation to deliver high value-added services.
Our goal: to allow manufacturers to remotely monitor the health, usage, and performance of their equipment once it is delivered and installed at the customer's site.
Thanks to this approach, they can:
During the workshop, Quentin, head of the IIoT division at DATIVE, illustrated this approach with a real-world use case: the connected control of industrial furnaces co-designed by GERAL. The equipment included an HMI featuring custom electronics and native connectivity, enabling data transmission to our DAT’Products platform.
Based on this, participants were able to view:
The workshop also highlighted the synergy between GERAL and DATIVE’s areas of expertise: embedded design and electronics on one side, software and algorithmic enhancement on the other. This combination ensures robust, secure, and long-term scalable solutions.
DAT’Products is designed with a “secure by design” approach, with a strong focus on industrial cybersecurity and data sovereignty. Our infrastructure allows clients to maintain full control over collected data, while benefiting from remote updates and optimized equipment usage.
By supporting initiatives in predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement, DAT’Products helps industrial equipment manufacturers shift from a “product” model to a “product + services” model that is both differentiating and sustainable.
This workshop gave DATIVE the opportunity to demonstrate, alongside GERAL teams, the power of field data when properly harnessed. A big thank you to EDF and the Cap’Ten & Magellan networks for their trust, as well as to all the participants for the insightful discussions.
